Their 28% fat peanut flours offer strong roasted peanut flavor and aroma which makes them the ideal fit for applications such as confections, compound coatings, pet treats and baked goods. Also a great base for making peanut butters. Packaged in 7 layer mylar bag in nitrogen for extended shelf life. Did you know that of all the flours peanut flour has a tendency to be less BUGGY of the flours. OXYGEN causes oxidation which kills the self life of just about every product. We use nitrogen gas to aid in pushing out the oxygen from the packaging and then heat seal the bag. bag can be opened and then sealed again and again with a zip lock. so how long can it last. In a number 10 can, shelf-life are said to be 15 years or more. but mylar bags are not as good as a #10 can. we estimate 5 years just to be safe. BUT once opened you will only have 18-24 months. Storing the bag in the freezer will get you the 15 years plus.
